2017 FUNDRAISER RECIPIENT

In 2017, K9 Care Montana was chosen as a proud recipient of the 9/11 Honor and Serve Foundation. Attending the event at the Averill Ranch in Big Fork, MT  that September was one of our most memorable highlights of the year. Amazing people and supporters. From the beginning Bill Thomas, Laura Wood and the H&S Volunteers welcomed us in like family and the 9/11 H&S Foundation funds helped further our mission providing service dogs to Wounded Warriors and First Responders at no cost. The ceremonies associated with this particular event were amazing. I feel it is the finest event in Montana honoring (both 9/11/01 and 9/11/12) those that served and made the ultimate sacrifice in addition to giving up so much so we can keep our liberty and freedom. Furthermore, when we think of 9/11 we immediately think of that fateful September day in 2001 but often there is no mention of the Benghazi attack on September 1, 2012. Thanks to the 9/11 Honor and Serve Foundation they will always be remembered and never forgotten. On behalf of Team K9 Care Montana, we thank you and feel honored and blessed to have been chosen recipients of this incredible organization. Again, the finest and most organized 9/11 event in Montana.
